Position Description:

As a Logistics Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting Redwood’s clients and Business Development Department through reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and presentation of solution design.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and process data to develop and present cost-effective solutions for current and potential clients.
• Develop and maintain recurring reporting through a mix of tools including Tableau, Excel, and MercuryGate Edge.
• Support procurement and RFP processes through data analysis.
• Model, price, and optimize complex, multi-mode transportation networks.
• Assist in carrier contract and rate maintenance
• Consistently ensure data validation and integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strategic, critical thinker
• Collaborates and works well in a team environment
• Strong detail-orientation, planning and organizational skills, and time management
• Ability to build new relationships

Tools:

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Exposure to BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Looker, etc.). Exposure to SQL driven tools (IE-Access).
