Essential functions

  • Establish/maintain approximately 350 information technology equipment (i.e., computers, monitors, wireless devices, printers, etc.) accountability.
  • Prepare documentation within the property book area to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Maintain records in connection with property turn-ins, issues, transfers, receipts, inventories, and other property transactions for compliance with and adherence to policies, regulations and guidance.
  • Update and maintain inventory of stock and prepares memorandum and reports according to Office guidance.
  • Perform equipment inquiries (status of delivery or office location), maintain equipment databases, retrieve a variety of data including arrival date, serial number, location, number on hand to provide information to customers, verify and follow-up on new equipment purchase requests, etc.
  • Provide written/verbal comments/inputs to plans and forecasts of equipment requisition and storage requirements based on input from activity personnel and users.
  • Provide support to assist faculty and staff with the setup of computer workstations, which includes connecting peripheral devices like mouse, monitor, docking station, etc. Assist user in connecting to the wired and academic wireless networks, O365, Teams, Blackboard, etc. Test to ensure user is left with an operational workstation in the office or classroom.
  • Provide advice/assistance with improving accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and usefulness of IT resources to include re-imaging up to 100 computer workstations, setting up IT equipment in classrooms as specified by the IMO, faculty, or staff.
  • Coordinate logistical and IT support for three convocations, three graduations, and up to 100 official events. Official events could range from requesting parking for class guest speakers to arranging room support for an international delegation from a non-US country. Provide support in planning, implementation, and execution of up to 7 classes weekly, up to 20 experiments annually, up to 10 demonstrations annually and up to 10 exercises annually.
  • Prepare information technology equipment requisitions, turn-ins, transfers, receiving reports and other related documents. Prepare property slips, requests for requisition or local purchase when items are not available in stock or through normal supply channels. Prepare consolidated purchasing list for all of requisitions.
  • Provide requisition support for up to 75 offices. Requisition office supplies and coordinate the delivery of items to appropriate offices.
  • Retain excess, fully functional equipment in a holding area for future distribution. Maintain supply storage area in accordance with Army regulatory guidance. Purge all Government data from excess equipment hard drives and other internal memory devices prior to storage and properly store (to include organizing and arranging items in a manner that will ensure easy access and inventory) equipment to avoid damage to include organizing and arranging items in a manner that will ensure easy access and inventory.
  • Provide inputs to Project Manager on proposed logistics supplies (paper, printer ink, pens/pencils, three ring notebooks, dry erasers and markers, clocks) on hand budget estimates and execution to support the supply program for the college.
  • Possess the highest standards of personal deportment and judgment; demonstrated organizational abilities, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Job requirements

  • PC installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience·
  • Physical and virtual server experience
  • Network administration experience

  • Ability to get and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) security clearance

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration preferred, but can be substituted with 3-5 years IT service experience
