Loss Mitigation Underwriter Manager...Remote with ability to come into the Atlanta area office as needed

Summary: Action oriented with ability to review challenging mortgage lending business decisions in a timely manner. Profile consists of a tremendous work ethic, unparalleled integrity and a dynamic personality. Under the direction of the AVP, this position is responsible for assisting with the internal auditing, error management, trend analysis, and collaborating with management. This position will work closely with the AVP of Loss Mitigation in overseeing training and monitoring of team member, managing new requests from clients and preparing Loss Mitigation files by reviewing workout applications, clarifying and or securing additional information.

This position will report to the AVP of Loss Mitigation to assist with the day-to-day execution of control processes to monitor. Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures to meet client guidelines and standards. Ensure that quality standards are met during production, testing, process and execution. Must be familiar with applicable loss mitigation servicing guidelines, requirements, and regulations. Must maintain a positive relationship with customers (both internal and external). Must be compliant with company policies/procedures and position agreements. This position is classified as salary

Duties and Responsibilities:

QC files of associates

Coordinate with client and offer expertise when necessary

Training associates

Monthly reviews with associates

Associates Year-End Review

Participates in training and quality assurance

Manage a daily queue of scheduled request from clients

Prepare Loss Mitigation files by reviewing workout applications, clarify and or secure additional information.

Provides continuous improvement analysis in all matters.

Develop, improve, and implement process and procedures for Loss Mitigation per investor guidelines with emphasis on Quality Control. Quality Assurance and Loss Mitigation Solicitation.

Oversee the day-to-day tasks and performance of QA and Loss Mitigation Solicitors.

Remain up to date on GSE Mortgage Servicing requirements

Lead development of key strategies and plans to accelerate adoption as outlined by AVP.

Report findings and be prepared to communicate results effectively.

Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

Closely partner with team to develop programs plans that win with customers.

Underwrite files per investor/client guidelines

At least (5) year underwriting experience

Education/Experience:

Minimum Eight years Loss Mitigation experience required with strong understanding of all investor types.

In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan servicing procedures

Computer literate including experience with Word, Excel and Windows, as well as Microsoft office applications required.

Detail oriented with ability and willingness to meet required company objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
