Job Scope:

The Lot Porter position is responsible for providing customer service, driving vehicles through the vehicle inspection areas, assisting with scheduling and organizing movement of cars on auction property, placing stickers on vehicles and supporting other functions for the lot operations department such as jump starting and fueling vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that vehicles are properly organized, received and scanned, and correctly moved to the next staging area.
• Drive vehicles and properly align and positioned to ensure a continuous flow of vehicles through the sale.
• Ensure that vehicles are parked in assigned lots and in proper order for the sale.
• Provide assistance to keep lot clean, neat and orderly.
• Drive vehicles through auction lanes when necessary on Sale Day.
• Demonstrate safe behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Successful completion of road skills test.

This is a temporary position.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
