Essential Responsibilities:

ALCIVIA is looking for a LP Delivery Driver to provide efficient and timely delivery to members while maintaining delivery vehicles, building customer relationships, and always putting safety first. Many of our drivers have been with us for decades.

• Daily on-time delivery of LP to member tanks at homes, businesses, and farms
• Oversee and maintain the safety of customer systems and equipment
• Build strong, positive, and long-lasting customer relationships
• Perform required pre-trip daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Maintain and care for delivery vehicle, ensuring regular preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate delivery and customer records
• Support customer tank maintenance
• Help market and sell products and services
• Keep cab and cargo doors locked when not in use
• Always have a safety first approach
• Never use cell phones or other handheld devices while driving
• Drive defensively, slowly, and safely at all times
• Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible
• Help out in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Class A CDL preferred
• Clean driving record
• Tanker and Hazmat required (will help obtain)
• Previous LP delivery experience preferred
• Maintain a professional appearance of self and for the cooperative
• Operate trucks in a safe manner, obeying all traffic laws, and using defensive driving techniques
• Some computer and technology skills
• Good written and verbal and communication
• Self-directed and focuses on taking action
• Ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions
• Possess a strong set of core values and beliefs
• Accept responsibility while maintaining integrity
• Remain persistence and recover quickly from setbacks
• Strong organization and time management
• Excellent customer service
• Positive attitude and approach to problem solving
• Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time
• Occasionally must lift up to 50 pounds
• Work in outdoor conditions
• Drive safely in varying weather conditions
