Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking a Part Time LVN to work alongside our nursing and pharmacy teams in an infectious disease physician’s practice setting in Houston, TX!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES IN THE INFUSION CENTER
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinating patient care
• Comprehensive nursing assessment
• Patient teaching and/or instructions of medication and disease process
• Take vitals and do dressing changes
• Patient safety, monitoring, and follow-up
• Administrative tasks such as ordering labs, etc.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Current valid license as a licensed vocational nurse in the state of practice
• Must possess valid basic life support (BLS) certification

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years of experience as a nurse required
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting and/or specialty area such as: infusion, ER, Urgent Care
• Experience administering oral, IM, and SQ medications
• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program
