Position Summary:
The LVN provides timely, safe, and effective nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures from the Department of Nursing Services. There are very robust continuing education options and opportunities for leadership development as a LVN with UHS. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program. One-year experience in psychiatric facility and bilingual preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed as an LVN to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing. CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
