Company Summary:

While their growth has been remarkable, they have never forgotten where they came from.

What a General Operator will do:

• Load machines with packaging materials and request materials from plant storage as needed
• Perform weight control checks and adjust machines as necessary
• Ensure proper container sizing
• Know and understand lockout procedure
• Learn and understand various operating procedures
• Use proper procedures and work in a safe and orderly manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you need to be a General Operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or one to three months of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Read, write comprehend and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio and percent
• Lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds
• Exposure to varying conditions including wet or humid conditions, high heat, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme noise levels #findajob
