Keystone Turbine Services, located in Coatesville, PA and a division of Precision Aviation Group, is a leader in the MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) industry for general aviation aircraft. We have an opening in our Machine Shop. This is a great opportunity for an individual with strong hands-on experience to get into the aviation industry.

The Machinist will use knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to produce a reliable, airworthy product at a reasonable cost and optimum turn time, while providing the highest quality of workmanship. Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.

Essential Functions include:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Modify parts and materials to improve overall production.
• Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments.

Ideal candidates will offer:

1. Five (5) years' relevant experience as job shop machinist.

2. Extensive experience with manual lathes, manual milling machines and related machine shop equipment.

3. Strong mathematical skills.

4. Mechanical aptitude.

5. Proficiency with micrometers, Vernier calipers and indicators.

6. The ability to meet physical requirements: standing position at least 80% of the day; push/pull at least 50lbs, reach overhead, bend over and carry at least 30 lbs.
