What You’ll Do

• Write inclusive, conversational email, site and social copy.
• Own and edit on-brand promotional copy across all channels.
• Own and assign paid social and search copy assignments as needed.
• Dream up email subject lines that make people wanna clickety-click.
• Interview and profile tastemakers and other influencers.
• Adopt our brand voice while helping to evolve it, particularly in the social realm.
• Keep tabs on what’s going on word-wise in the industry.
• Be a sharp and supportive editor to a more junior copywriter.

What You Know

• The latest trending Tiktok sound, niche meme account and viral long read.
• The ins and outs of social engagement.
• The difference between complement and compliment.

What You Bring

• 4-7 years of experience as a copywriter for brands or publications.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job (English, Journalism, Communications or Advertising preferred).
• Curiosity about all kinds of retail experiences.
• Brainstorming sorcery and tagline wizardry.
• An unapologetically nerdy love of words.
• Cool-headed multitasking.
