Job Summary:
Under supervision of the Associate Director of Central Services, the part-time temporary Mail Clerk will assist in providing daily handling, processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and parcels. This position will also provide print and copy services for the academic and administrative needs of the College as needed.
Essential Functions:

• Daily processing, handling and distribution of incoming mail and parcels to faculty, staff, and students.
• Daily processing, handling and delivery of outgoing mail and parcels.
• Fill copy and print requests from the campus community as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; college experience preferred
• Experience with printers and copiers desirable
• General office experience highly desirable
• Mail room experience a plus
• Working knowledge of computers using Word and Excel preferred
• General Office skills required
• Math skills required

Personal Characteristics:

• Candidates must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Individual must be self-directed, able to work unsupervised to complete tasks.

Organizational Relationships:
Works under direct supervision of the Associate Director for Central Services.
Working Hazards/Conditions:

• Must be able to lift and carry packages of moderate weights up to 60 lbs regularly
• Regular bending, standing and walking
• Indoors, in a temperature-controlled environment.

Work Schedule/Hours:
Varied: Monday – Friday 10:00 pm – 2:00 pm with some variations when filling in for absent full time staff
