General Summary:
Responsible for overall processing of corporate mail, shipping and receiving of all overnight and ground packages, prepare outbound truck mail daily for the distribution centers.
Responsible for developing and implementing a timeline for their team to meet deadlines.
Train new employees by discovering training needs and provide coaching.
Assist the manager in the day to day projects such as prioritizing work, monitoring incoming and outgoing mail and packages, manage mailroom equipment and supplies, and reconcile and validate UPS Shipping Invoices.
Serve as Primary Certified Mail Custodian for the SSC. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Pick-up and deliver mail, parcels and other items to Team Members within established timeframes. Deliver and collect all mail/overnight packages for SSC daily.
Sort mail into SSC department mail slots accurately for delivery to each department. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures as Certified Mail Custodian. This entails ensuring 100% documentation of the receipt and internal SSC delivery of all certified mail. Audit and report performance of the program. Receive, sort and process mail, packages and supplies (e.g. FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.).
Manage and Operate postage machine and envelope printer to process first class mail and special projects.
Prepare truck mail for outbound delivery to Stores or Distribution Centers. This includes stuffing promotional signs, pulling daily batch schedules, using pallet jack etc.
Manage all facets of Xerox copier operation in the mailroom to include sorting/distribution of all large copy requests, ordering all copier supplies, and placing orders.
Reconcile and validate UPS invoices in a timely and accurate manner in support of the Mail Room Supervisor. Participate in cross-training within the department.
Follow mailroom security procedures.
Follow all Company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Office work environment, 40+ work hours per week
Required to lift up to 50lbs regularly
Ability to demonstrate basic PC/Internet skills
Ability to bend, squat, and stand for long periods of time; Significant walking required
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
Great customer service
Strong attention to detail; Must translate information accurately Minimum Requirements: Education : High School diploma.
Experience: 2 or more years of mailroom experience. This includes experience operating mailroom equipment.
Job Related Skills: NA
Computer Skills: Introductory knowledge of Microsoft products (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel)
Certifications: Valid Drivers License . Forklift Certification preferred. Must be able to obtain certifications six
months after hire date.
