About This Role:
Facilities Central Mail is looking for a Mail Specialist. Duties will include sorting by account (approximately 600), weigh, and assess postage rates for domestic and international mail by keying in departmental account numbers and appropriate mail classifications (i.e. Express, Priority Mail, First Class, Parcel Post, Accountable Mail, etc.) in order to apply correct postage (approximately $1 million annually) to outgoing mail (approximately two million pieces annually) by remaining current on all USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL regulations, by advising departments on proper mailing procedures and costs, and by using electronic mailing machines interfaced with data stations, electronic meters and scales, and shipping computer systems in accordance with established procedural guidelines.

What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma and one year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer high school graduate or equivalent and two years experience in a major mail room operation.
Prefer knowledge of United States Postal Service and United Parcel Service regulations, rapid reading ability and memorization skills for sorting of mail, and data entry ability.
Other Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
