Maintenance/Janitor Assistant
San Diego, CA 92111

Saturday and Sunday 11a-7:30p
Wage: $16-$17/hr DOE
Kearny Mesa Convalescent, a Generations Healthcare is in search of a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. .
Job Summary:
The primary role of the Janitor is to maintain the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.
Essential Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor they may be.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.

Qualifications:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination will be required for all facility employees as of September 30,2021 (requests for accommodation due to disability or religious belief will be reviewed)
