Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Maintenance Manager oversees day-to-day operations on maintenance and repair work for our warehouses and its equipment, including electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems. Other duties include but not limited to:
· Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
· Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
· Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
· Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
· Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
· Follow all company as well as MIOSHA safety protocols when conducting repairs or addressing hazards / potentially hazardous situations.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Keep inventory of all parts as well as parts used during repairs
· Follow the preventative maintenance schedule
· Safely and properly use all material handling equipment
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Hire and train maintenance department staff.
· Organize and oversee the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
· Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
· Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Work Schedule & Travel
The Warehouse Maintenance Manager is a full-time position working from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekends work may be required as schedule demands. The Maintenance Warehouse Manager will travel as needed to warehouse depots outside of Metro Detroit. These depots include Saginaw, Gaylord, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City.
Pay & Benefits
This is an Exempt, Salaried position with an anticipated rate of $55,000 - $66,000 per year based on experience. The Warehouse Maintenance Manager will also be eligible for full benefits after a 60-Day probationary period including but not limited to:

Work Environment & Physical Demands
The Warehouse Maintenance Manager operates in a warehouse environment. The employee will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration where the noise level can be loud. This position is also very active and must frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb throughout the day frequently lifting, stacking, moving and rotating with items, without handles, that weigh up to 50 pounds; push/pull carts with up to 100 pounds of force. This position is required to operate warehouse equipment and regularly to read, write and communicate in English.
Required Qualifications
· 3-5 Years of related experience
· HS Diploma or equivalent (Secondary Education preferred)
· Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
· Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
· Excellent management and supervisory skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

· Cooperates with all management and staff
· Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
· Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
· Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including a full Background Check, 10-Panel Drug Test, Physical Evaluation, and Agility(Lift) Test
· Maintain a safe driving record.
