- Serve as a leader to support the execution and control of plant Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery
performance versus goals in a Support department
- Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and
- Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
- Coach team to follow manufacturing standards/methods
- Develop plans in which business strategies are executed as well as plans to ensure goals and
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop,
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Able to install new circuits in accordance with local and state national electrical code.
- Able to read electrical schematics and drawings of building and electrical equipment.
- Able to calculate line loads and requirements for new machinery
- Practice positive employee relations and develop self and others
- mentors employees as necessary
- Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 3-5 Years experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong mechanical background, including electrical, electronic and mechanic.
- Strong mathematical, computer and reading skills.
- Must possess a positive attitude.
