Uses job plans to create a schedule that makes the most effective and efficient use of the available resources. Receives work order and checks for administrative completeness. Sets net capacity for the crafts based on information about the area turnaround schedule and the related available labor. Assists in the update of the jobs to be included in the weekly schedule. Identify resource requirements for the scheduled jobs using the job plans. Build the weekly schedule making the most effective and efficient use of available resource and issuing the schedule. Initiates material movement for scheduled jobs. Leads scheduling meetings. Monitors/reviews performance measures. Leads scheduling improvement efforts. Additional duties include Material Coordination which acts as a focal point for acquisition, scheduling, and distribution of materials, supplies and service requisitions. Enters materials, tools, equipment requests via Procurement System or Pro-card and confirms delivery date. Communicates the order and delivery status, typically by setting various material status/flags throughout the work order cycle in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing experience required
  • Line of Business Technology Expertise preferred

  • Maintenance Work Processes
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP Plant Maintenance Module)
  • Scheduling Tools, (depending on site), Prometheus, Primavera, MS Project
  • Monitors/tracks materials, tools and equipment orders upon receipt.
  • Arranges materials, tools and equipment in a manner, that it can be identified and picked up according to job needs.
