Summary:

  • Confirm and schedule planned activities for maintenance team members for both shifts.
*Confirm results of team members daily activities.
*Confirm action for repairs and kaizen activities to prioritize action items within the department.
  • Adhere to and enforce TGTX policies and procedures.
*Keep constant communication with managers, team members and internal customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Report daily downtime, kaizen activity, problem follow up sheet status in management meeting.
  • Audit and report out daily on pm activities, including weekend PM activities.
*Develop actions to maintain safe environment, maintain Kaizen, increase quality of repair/pm's, reduce downtime, and reduce overtime.
*Confirm assignments, conduct internal audits, and Kaizen activities to support TGTX's
management system.
*Confirm Team Leader daily task (repair, pm, kaizen, etc…) for operating shifts
*Train/mentor team leader and team member to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, and
Machine Efficiency.
*Assist in setting up expense and capital budgets for department.
*Ensure team members are using proper tools and tools are kept in good working condition.
  • Ensure that all team members practice good 5S activity daily.
*Oversee and supervise other projects and assignments as requested by the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of good maintenance practices and procedures (preventive maintenance, repair, machine overhauls).
  • Minimum 5 years of Maintenance Supervisor exp.
  • Experience generating reports/charts using MS Office
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to work overtime
*Must be able to work nights and weekends as requested by upper management. *Knowledge of blueprint reading, electrical schematics, and PLC knowledge.
  • Maintenance Shop Management experience (3 yrs. min)

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel to work on machines and equipment.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to clime ladders and elevated platforms to work on equipment.
  • Experience using scissor lifts and boom lifts.

Working Conditions:

  • May work with all tools/equipment available at maintenance shops.
  • Occasional use of overhead cranes.
  • Possible exposure to water treatment chemicals and solutions for water tank treatment.
  • Daily work in manufacturing floor and maintenance shop environments.
  • Work environment may include but not be limited to outside equipment.
  • Required use of PPE (steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, etc..)
  • Use of equipment found in maintenance shops including but not limited to material loaders, dryers, robots, conveyors, ovens, and roller conveyors.
