We are looking for talented and experienced maintenance techs who will take care of our beautiful and historic property by performing ongoing facility maintenance and repairs. The position requires excellent communication skills and experience in the following trades: Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Cleaning of facilities, Air conditioning, and Event setup (installation of decor, etc.).

Essential Responsibilities:

• Fix machinery, plumbing, heating and wiring and inspect building and grounds to confirm safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Work on damaged electrical wiring, replace light switches, bulbs, etc.
• Maintain the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Paint and repair various surfaces
• Landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Other maintenance and repair duties as may be assigned

Must haves:

At least 2 years previous maintenance experience required. High school diploma preferred.

Experience and knowledge working with power tools.

Proficient in English, both oral and written. Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Great attitude. Has can-do, will-do attitude to help in any maintenance area needed.

Able to be on time and dependable: Working hours are 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Mon - Friday. An occasional weekend day may be required depending on projects.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to provide references of past employment

Pay rate depends on experience - $18 - 20/hour
