RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the installation of, maintenance of and or repair of equipment for the manufacturing of IG Design Group Americas, Inc. products.
• Assist in the installation of, maintenance of and or repair of equipment in the Plant.
• Minor welding, acetylene torch, brazing, soldering, plumbing and minor carpentry.
• Thread and install basic steel and stainless-steel piping.
• Must demonstrate basic knowledge of using micrometer and caliper.
• Must demonstrate and hold the ability to perform basic building maintenance and janitorial duties.
• Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management.

ATTENDANCE:

• Regular attendance is an expectation of performance to ensure adequate staffing and meet expected productivity throughout the organization, employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pass Mechanical Reasoning assessment.
• Must be able to read, write, perform basic math and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Have proven mechanical aptitude and experience with minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work from ladders.
• Manually lift material overhead, reach and work at or above shoulder level.
• Manually lift and carry equipment weighing up to 100 lbs plus lift and equipment set in place.
• Remove equipment manually or by mechanical means.
• Ability to work a full work shift including overtime, use hand, power and measuring tools and must have a good attendance record.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to continuously bend, squat, stand or walk, and lift up to 100 pounds frequently.
• Participation in working overtime as required.
• Work in facilities without climate control.

Pay: $21.22 - $23.22 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
