The Maintenance Technician maintains and troubleshoots equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for equipment safety
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve all equipment aspects of plant machinery.
• Assembly, disassembly, converting, and upgrading equipment as required.
• Document all maintenance activities and champions preventative maintenance programs.
• Take proactive measures to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• All other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum 5 years experience working in a production environment. Must have electrical and mechanical experience.

Skills:

• Must have troubleshooting and problem resolution experience.
• Ability to complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Must be a good communicator and have computer skills.
• Preferred aptitude in PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanics and electrical.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and blue print drawings.

Training Required:
On-site orientation and training will be provided.
Must have the ability to work overtime and shift work.
