Job description
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures
- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
- Perform routine maintenance on existing and new equipment
- Test and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
- Read and follow company lock out tag out procedures
- Repair malfunctioning machines and systems
- Plumbing troubleshooting and repair
- Hydraulic / Pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair
- Fabrication, welding, and weld repair
- Aerial work platform, forklift, and overhead crane operation
- Vocational certificate or associate degree preferred but High School diploma or GED with minimum of 5 years related experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of operations, services, and activities of a building maintenance and repair.
- Principles and operation of preventative maintenance practices and implementation
- Demonstrated competency in basic mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
- Reads and understands construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Experience with PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Proficiency in the use of electrical testing equipment
- Knowledge in Lock Out / Tag Out
- Fabrication and welding
- Proficiency in use of hand and power tools
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Perform related duties as required
- Available to work A, B, C, or D shifts
