Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Sharon Hill, PA. – R-288383 - (LPerryREC)

Weekly Schedule/Hours: Monday – Friday, 11am – 7pm; weekends and some holidays.

Description: Assist in preventative maintenance of pharmacy automation systems and maximize system performance. On-call after normal operating hours for support or maintenance.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for replenishing and maintenance of automated cells, vial labelers, and capping machines
• Electrical troubleshooting and resolution for Baker
• System troubleshooting and maintenance
• Display methodical and deliberate troubleshooting skills
• Display initiative in seeking solutions to problems
• Work well and co-operate with other individuals and departments
• Developing and maintaining a proactive plan in setting up PM maintenance system
• Good communication skills
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist in operations/production as needed
• Use SDS (System Design Specs) and other tools to understand the functionality of the Baker System and to isolate problems.
• Taking ownership of Baker System operations and projects
• Taking ownership of projects as assigned by Automation Manager
• Taking ownership of the shop and spare parts area

Process Measures: Measurement of overall downtime due to maintenance and repair of pharmacy automation systems

Outcome Measures: Efficient and accurate dispensing exceeding system design rates

Additional Opportunities:

Increase knowledge of all automation systems acquired through self-study and on-the-job training.

Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their homes to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
