Job description

Manufacturing Setting Rolls of paper are combined to create corrugated stock which is then converted (printed, die cut, scored, folded, glued, etc) to containers according to customer specifications.

• Maintenance Setting The maintenance team is converting to a seven-day maintenance schedule.
• Works alone or with other maintenance mechanics assigned to task. Job Summary Safely performs daily assignments requiring mechanical and electrical skills in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the maintenance, trouble shooting, repair, and installation of corrugated and converting equipment and the manufacturing facility itself.

General Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety regulations and polices Ensures the safety of themselves and other employees as well as compliance with plant, corporate and local, state and federal (OSHA) requirements.
• Work any shifts Multi-tasks and works with minimal or no supervision Performs preventative maintenance/repair of scheduled machinery Troubleshoots/repairs mechanical and electrical systems Troubleshoots/repairs hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Performs other duties as assigned Strong attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication.

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• Experience in electrical/mechanical repairs in container manufacturing preferred.
• Ability read and work from schematics and blueprints.
• Strong computer skills. High school diploma or equivalent.
• company does not permit any Contract Employee to operate motor vehicles. 3-5 years of experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
