The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Maintenance Technician (Full Time).

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Maintenance Technician within the department of Enterprises and Operations. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting a comprehensive maintenance program for all University Enterprises and Events facilities and the equipment within these facilities. This position reports to the lead maintenance technician and the Maintenance Director. Responsible for repair and preventative maintenance of food service, concession, and vending equipment as well as light building issues. Be part of an on-call rotation to provide 24 hour service 365 days a year, which includes holidays. Along with maintaining equipment and facilities, this position will help support special events, such as football and athletic events, setting up picnic sites, special meals, et cetera.

This position is with University Enterprises and Events at the University of Notre Dame and is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus (1/2 paid at 90 and 180 days of continuous employment). Candidates are only eligible if they are a new employee to the University - current Notre Dame employees who transfer are not eligible. Other rules and conditions apply.

Minimum Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience.

Good mechanical ability. Good communication skills. Good problem solving. Ability to read schematics. Refrigeration is a plus.
