Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing

We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at our facility located in Wilson, NC. This is an exciting time to join our team. We are growing rapidly and are looking for someone that would like to join our team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Vocational or Technical School preferred
• 5 years or more in a manufacturing maintenance role
• Knowledge of OSHA regulation
• Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues
• Welding Experience preferred
• Ability to read and troubleshoot low voltage using electrical schematics
• Ability to perform basic electrical work, including, but not limited to, changing out motors, troubleshooting machine faults, and running wiring

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical problems on all equipment
• Manage all facility maintenance needs including clearing roof vents and repairing garage doors
• Maintain all machine safety guarding
• Must maintain a clean and organized maintenance area
• Self-Starter and ability to work alone
• Must maintain accurate maintenance records and be well organized
• Will report directly to the plant Production Manager

Schedule 6am to 2 pm Monday through Friday

· This is a physically demanding position, requiring repeated lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 75 pounds, so please consider these physical expectations prior to applying.

· Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine.
