We are looking for an experienced, mammography technologist that can work at our Bedford Park Clinic location. As a Mammography Technologist, you will take part in assisting patients with their questions/concerns and helping them prepare for mammographic procedures. This position is for part time evening hours. Some hours can be flexible to accommodate the employees schedule if needed.

You will be expected to:

• Evaluate and interpret captured images effectively

• Sterilize and maintain mammographic equipment

• Gain patient cooperation by calming anxieties, providing explanations of imaging procedures/equipment and answering questions/concerns

• Maintains production and quality of mammograms by following company standards and procedures

• Responsibly ensure that the patient is comfortable and safe throughout their experience

• Documents the patient’s mammogram services by accurately recording the data in the patient’s chart

• Communicate medical data, patient history and any related information to the appropriate physician.

• Experience in 3D imaging is preferred but not required
