The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $55,016.00 to $64,532.00.

This position is exempt under the FLSA.

About the Position
The Management Analyst researches, analyzes, compiles and reports information on a professional level to Court leadership, judicial officers, department managers and staff.
Standard Judicial Branch business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This position may allow for a teleworking schedule dependent on the needs of the Judicial Branch.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, Justice Studies, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a related field
Experience:
  • Two (2) years of professional analytical experience
OR
Combined education and experience qualifications:
  • A combination of education and experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis
  • Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, Justice Studies, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a related field may substitute for one (1) year of the professional analytical experience
Our Preferred Candidate has:
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and managing projects
  • Intermediate experience using statistical software (Microsoft Excel, SQL, SPSS, SAS, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite)
  • Experience in evaluating, planning, and/or research and data collection capacity
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of:
  • Principles and applications of management concepts and techniques.
  • Policies, standards, procedures, and activities of Court departments.
Skill in:
  • Utilizing Adobe Create Cloud Suite, Microsoft Excel, SQL, SPSS, SAS, and/or other statistical software
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
  • Gathering, organizing, and analyzing information
Ability to:
  • Analyze organizational and justice system problems, develop effective solutions, and present analysis results
  • Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with court and county departments, agencies, and employees
  • Effectively facilitate meetings and present information to a variety of audiences
  • Understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules, and regulations associated with this position
  • Work independently on complex assignments using discretion and judgment
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

  • Performs comprehensive research and analysis on complex departmental issues and special projects, prepares comprehensive reports, and provides recommendations to department management.
  • Conducts operations review/assessment of compliance with department policies, procedures, and protocols; state and federal law; administrative orders and codes; funding agreements; and program plans.
  • Assists managers with planning, developing, and implementing projects and evaluating results.
  • Serves as department liaison with other organizations, including funding sources.
  • Creates professional reports and correspondence.
  • Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
Working conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak clearly and hear; see details of objects that are less than a few feet away; sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally push, pull or lift up to 20 pounds.
