The Manager, corporate compliance manages the day-to-day activities of the corporate compliance program inclusive of but not limited to policies & procedures, code of conduct, program description, education/training program, compliance hotline, effectiveness survey, systems, and metrics.

What We're Looking For

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) within 1 year of hire

Education Desired:

  • Project management certification

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years healthcare experience
  • Experience managing teams of investigators/auditors within healthcare compliance program

Experience Desired:

  • Multistate experience

  • Strong written, verbal, listening and communication skills -- having the ability to understand and communicate appropriately to the targeted audience
  • Strong supervisory/managerial skills. Manage staff workload appropriately and identify areas of improvement and areas for professional development for staff
  • Strong analytical skills -- having the ability to identify an issue, conduct an analysis to determine business impact (including gap analyses), troubleshoot
  • Strong project management skills - having the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously by maintaining established timeframes, adhering to work plans, and communicating changes effectively
  • Strategic thinking and planning to continue to enhance the Compliance Program and the role of compliance within the organization: ability to initiate and develop new solutions to problems, to identify new opportunities; and have organizational perspective to see how the pieces fit and reflect that perspective inday-to-day decisions pieces fit and reflect that perspective in day-to-day decisions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to present information clearly in meetings and to communicate with team members and senior leadership
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate and work with staff of all skill and experience levels

Other Required:

  • Position requires constant operation of a computer and other office equipment (i.e., copy machine, Polycom equipment, and computer printer)
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop, review, and update organizational policies & procedures, standards of conduct, and compliance program description
  • Prepare materials & conduct appropriate annual and ongoing corporate compliance training, education, and communication for workforce & board of directors
  • Manage internal/external communications/branding inclusive of website updates/maintenance
  • Respond appropriately to detected offenses & develop corrective action as warranted
  • Effective management and oversight of associates, analysts, & specialists
  • Ensure effective lines of communication through effective management of internal compliance hotline and monitor/conduct incident/inquiry/investigative response
  • Enforcing disciplinary standards through well published guidelines
  • Oversight of conflict-of-interest program ensuring appropriate identifying, evaluating, and resolving of potential conflicts of interests
  • Manage annual compliance effectiveness survey
  • Broad & comprehensive knowledge of OIG compliance guidance on effective compliance programs, a working knowledge of healthcare laws/regulations such as Fraud & Abuse, False Claims Act, Stark Law, & Anti-Kickback Statute
  • Ability to perform detailed research and review of laws, regulations, industry best practices, and governmental guidance that might affect the company's compliance practices and effectively communicate and collaborate with other leaders to ensure effectively incorporated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,351.42 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
