About This Opportunity:
The Manager is responsible for the Enterprise Infrastructure Operations - Windows server team managing server support for InComm’s business in a global, high-availability and high-performance environment.

The incumbent will lead the Enterprise Infrastructure Operations – Windows team in building, decommissioning, and administering virtual, physical and cloud servers, tuning for performance, and following industry best practices. The Windows server environments include but not limited to development, QA, UAT, and production.
Responsibilities:
  • Formal management of a team of Windows server engineers
  • Effectively lead a team and inspire others to achieve goals with a focus on automation, excellence, innovation, and quality
  • Ability to manage change and effectively communicate to leadership and individual contributors
  • Work with client teams to understand their requirements, conduct regular team meetings, and track progress
  • Conduct performance reviews of team members and identify areas of improvement, provide coaching, and make recommendations for promotions or salary increments
  • Provide technical leadership in design, implementation and support of the core Windows server services that are highly reliable, flexible, scalable, and cost effective.
  • Define policies, procedures, and standards to be implemented
  • Oversee efforts to maximize server system availability, ensure swift and complete server recovery in the event of an issue, optimize availability through ongoing maintenance, and ensure compliance regarding all audit and operating standards
  • Establish proper monitoring, measuring, and reporting of service performance against Service Level Objectives, customer satisfaction and financial efficiencies
  • Support staffing for 24X7 production environments
  • Manage risks, assessing gaps/opportunities, and implementing action plans to mitigate risks, where applicable
  • Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental requirements
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • 5+ years of Windows server administration experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, Information Technology, or related field required
  • Experience in on premise server builds both virtual and physical servers as well as Azure cloud
  • Experience in software life cycle management and supporting 24X7 production environments
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to document standard procedures, problems resolutions and environment modifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain high standards of work and composure in challenging situations
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures as well as internal departmental procedures to ensure consistency in delivery of services
  • Ability to investigate and assess issues effectively leading to prompt problem resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to advance project timelines and effectively communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Ability to support continuous process improvement and innovation
  • Experience with Windows server 2012 onwards
  • Experience with VMWare, automation, and Azure
  • Comfortable using tools such as Service Now
