Job Title: Manager, Information Technology
Job Location: Hauppauge, NY
Position Summary
Responsibilities:
- Carry out moderately complex information systems and/or information technology tasks within more than one discipline
- Monitor and support the information technology and systems infrastructures
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Implement various applications of a complex nature
- Conduct analysis including planning, designing, and evaluating a variety of information technology tools
- Respond to a variety of complex user requests for system needs and upgrades
- May act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for lower-level employees
- May provide written technical descriptions and contribute in the development of technical solutions in support of proposal efforts
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Secondary Accountabilities
- Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field and a minimum of 7 years applicable information systems experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Expected to have knowledge and experience in multiple information systems disciplines with specific focus on SharePoint Administration and Active Directory support.
- Certifications in any IT discipline is a plus.
- Lifting (up to 20 lbs.): up to 25% of time
- Walking: up to 25% of time
- Climbing, Kneeling, Bending, Standing, Stooping: up to 10% of time
- Sitting: up to 75% of time
- Travel: up to 10% of time
