Job Summary

Responsible for the establishment of Amneal's Medical Information strategy and processes, including the development of the Amneal product information database. Responsible for the execution of global Medical Information deliverables, including authoring standard and custom responses to medical inquiries, reviewing promotional materials, and development of scientific content to support Amneal Medical Affairs.

Essential Functions

• Proactively develop medical response documents/standard response letters, create unique responses, and revise/update existing documents in database.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure promotional/non-promotional materials are appropriate and scientifically accurate
• Collaborate with management and other internal stakeholders, to develop, implement, and maintain processes to maximize compliant and effective delivery of Medical Information services
• Participate in pre-and post-launch activities ensuring Medical Information preparedness for successful product launches
• Work independently yet ensure strategic alignment of information with key internal stakeholders and experts, as necessary
• Identify emerging medical trends, marketplace issues (e.g., Medical Inquiry Trends, Business Intelligence) and quality assurance issues and share with appropriate personnel
• Collaborate with relevant internal functions to establish a product information database
• Support the medical information needs of internal functions, as required, including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, etc.
• Provide disease state and product training to internal groups as needed

Education

• Master Degree (MS/MA)/Advanced degree in Medical Sciences - Required
• Doctorate Degree/Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD) - Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years or more with Relevant experience - Required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills - Intermediate
• Medical writing experience - Intermediate

• Demonstrated expertise in medical information communication and management - Intermediate
