Job description
The Manager of Facility Maintenance directs the VIA facility maintenance operation with a staff of subordinate foremen, skilled repairpersons, and unskilled workers in a Union environment. The facility maintenance operation includes the scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance and cleaning of all VIA operated facilities and bus patron amenities.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and at least five years’ experience in facility maintenance, construction, and project management or an equivalent combination thereof. Registration as a professional engineer is desirable but not mandatory.
