Manager of Provider Network (2 Open Positions)

Starting Salary: $81,670
Job Summary: Responsible for management and oversight of OCHN contracted providers including but not limited to, Specialized Residential, Community Living Supports, Vocational, and other direct service providers. Management and oversight of these providers includes, but is not limited to, supervision of assigned staff, coordination and training of Core Provider Agencies, direct service providers, and other relevant stakeholders. Coordination and collaboration with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). Responsible for the management and oversight of provider network contracts as assigned, including OCHN initiatives. This position directly manages the Specialized Residential and Community Living Support providers, as well as managing staff, including Provider Network Analysts and Service Coordinators.
Essential Functions:
- Addresses provider performance issues and troubleshoots provider problems that impact service delivery.
- Provides oversight for the implementation of service models.
- Provides oversight for assigned contract types
- Participates in organizational provider credentialing and procurement.
- Directly manage Provider Network Team staff, including Provider Network Analysts and Service Coordinators.
- Provides oversight for all assigned contract types, including but not limited to Applied Behavioral Analysis, vocational, Specialized Residential and Community Living Services and Core Provider Agencies. This may include grant initiatives and other strategic priorities.
- Management of waivers as assigned, including Children’s Waiver, Habilitations Supports Waiver, and Serious Emotional Disturbances Waiver
- Daily management of assigned provider networks. Supervision of staff assigned to direct service contracts.
- Management and oversight of administrative processes for moves, provider reporting, enhanced staffing, and general fund requests. Development and oversight of policies and procedures as required.
- Contract management of assigned contracts.
- Maintain positive working relationships with OCHN providers, including facilitating resolution of issues, questions, concerns, etc.
- Lead implementation of assigned strategic and/or annual planning goals and objectives.
- Attend meetings and participate on committees as assigned and as a representative of OCHN.
- Provide supervision, including regular meetings as feedback, to direct report. Approve timesheets, time off, and assure appropriate coverage for team responsibilities.
- Facilitate provider meetings.
- Manage and complete administrative tasks associated with contract management, including performance tracking, issuance of performance improvement plans, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree could be accepted with other relevant qualifications.
- Master’s degree, preferred, in one of the following areas: Mental health-related discipline; Public Health or Public Administration.
Experience Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years' experience directly supervising professional staff; experience resolving dispute/grievances in a business setting; experience working in a managed care organization including experience with contract management and experience with procurement; project management experience.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of Medicaid-covered services and Medicaid regulations.
- Knowledge of provider network and how services are delivered within provider network.
- Understanding of contracting and funding.
- Working knowledge of procurement guidelines.
- Understanding of contracts and related processes to execute contracts and support new providers in operating under auspices of OCHN contract.
- Knowledge of employment services and substance use disorder treatment services.

- Must have available means of transportation to and from OCHN and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
