Job description

This role supports content requirements for Marketing as well as multiple corporate stakeholder groups. Activities are focused in the following areas: management of website content and updates; creating, updating and maintaining PowerPoint presentations; general design and one-off projects in support of corporate management. It is imperative that this role ensures that the company materials have a cohesive message and look.


Major Activities to ensure achievement of key results and deliverables:

  • PowerPoint creation and assistance for various company departments including Content Services, Sales, Business Development, Marketing and upper management
  • One-sheet design (creation/layout) for company’s product, technology and programming offerings
  • Corporate website management, ensuring up-to-date content
  • VOD (marketing) Affiliate Website management, including updating monthly information, add/removal of new materials and monitoring of information integrity. Will need to be proficient with HTML. Experience in International markets a plus
  • Manage the company’s intranet site (SharePoint) with IT, HR and Marketing
  • Manage the monthly creation, including layout, and distribution of customer newsletter (The Comp Spot)


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Miscellaneous Database Administrative Activities
  • Miscellaneous Design
    • Create invites and banner ads for trade shows
    • Create annual Holiday card
    • Advertisement creation for both web and print
    • Logo creation
    • Layout & logo design for premiums
    • Trade show signage layout
    • Document design/layout (Ex. White Papers)
  • Will need to manage schedule to include miscellaneous requests for various one-off projects from a variety of departments.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years minimum experience
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • Adobe CS5 (Illustrator, Photoshop)
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic ASP
    • Microsoft SharePoint
    • Microsoft Office
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, certification a plus
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven understanding of trends and identifying key issues in a complex situation
  • Exceptional skill to organize work and set priorities
  • Strategic Thinking/Agility: Have a strong understanding of the business challenges, needs, and expectations of a wide range of customers across multiple business segments. Possesses sound business instincts, and strong customer and market orientation/focus.
  • Knowledge of multimedia & multiplatform with a pulse on the ever changing technology landscape
  • Experience or knowledge in dealing with International companies/landscapes a plus

  • Energized by multi-tasking and prioritizing among several simultaneous projects – some regularly and others uniquely occurring

  • Complete actions requested without the need for micromanagement, yet keep manager informed of status of requests
