Summary: The Manager – Operations will office out of Cotulla, TX and will report directly to the Director - Operations. This role will oversee all operations including pipeline operations, Pipeline, station and compliance as well as maintenance and environmental within the area while ensuring we uphold a successful safety record. The selected candidate will adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within its budget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is located in South Texas and is a key component in insuring that assets are maintained safely. This position will be responsible for approx. 600 miles of pipe across the South East Texas Region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide direction to employees within a geographic territory of pipeline and plant facilities consistent with Company and governmental requirements.
  • Establishes and measures work group goals and performance.
  • Responsible for adhering to operating expense budget and small capital projects budget
  • Assures the work group has the resources and information to make informed decisions regarding day to day operation of the facilities in compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as the first line of management for customers, landowners and the public interactions. Assures any issues identified by these groups is conveyed to senior management and/or addresses them locally.
  • Enforces company policies and procedures and ensures operations are within prescribed guidelines.
  • Conducts personnel reviews, oversees the career planning and employee development for those employees in the work group.

Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • High school education or equivalent, Associate degree or bachelor degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of related experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
