Position Summary

The Production Manager organizes, optimizes and continually improves the production activities by considering a number of factors - the local regulations, rules, the permits; the agreed cost budget according to the specs as agreed with the Sales department; and taking into account the Sibelco Values and policies.

Responsibilities

· Safety Leadership - Ensures compliance with safety standards as required by law and company policy through maintaining the safety of plant personnel and leads and supporting the safety program and all safety efforts by conducting or ensuring safety training is completed.

· Manage Production Process - Ensures the quality and regulatory compliance of all products manufactured and shipped from the plant while meeting sales customer needs and expectations.

· Site Leadership - Audits, solves problems, improves plant operations and facilitates investigating and correcting actions associated with quality and safety events.

· Budget Management -Manage production OPEX and CAPEX budgets.

· Continuous Improvement - Implement, maintain and improve with his/her team excellent performing production processes.

· Process Engineering – Develop and sustain production processes to meet or exceed the technical requirements of our clients while achieving quality, throughput, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.

· 8+ years’ experience in a leadership role in the mineral or related industry preferred.

· Proficient in English. Other languages are an asset.

Salary Range - $122,822 - $153,527
