The Cheney Free Press is looking for a veteran newspaper editor who can manage traditional coverage, webpage news and social media. The Free Press is the flagship newspaper for Free Press Publishing, located in Cheney, Wash., home to Eastern Washington University. Just minutes away from Spokane, the Cheney area has a tremendous amount of news to cover. We're looking for an editor who can cover a couple beats while also managing young reporters. Duties include reporting, photography, pagination, leading several reporters in nearby communities and planning news coverage and special sections with our ad and administrative staff. This is a hands-on, on-location position. If you think you've got what it takes to lead our news team, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
