Job Responsibilities:
- Support Purchasing Department to draft procedures required to ensure correct management of the spare parts in Sofidel America in compliance with Group procedure
- Provide continuous training to employees involved in management flow of the spare parts
- Provide Support on SAP transaction relating to Spare Parts Warehouse
- Analyze the arrangement of the spare parts warehouses of Sofidel America Plants, to guarantee the rationalization of stock
- Control and help Plants on Cycle Counts Activities and Track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock level in Sofidel America Plants
- Track and maintain accurate records of all data in spare parts warehouse
- Develop new codification project in Sofidel America Spare Parts Warehouse in order to guaranteed standardization.
- Establish and maintain the necessary interfaces and acts as point of contact with operations, engineering, quality, procurement and other site personnel.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, or other related field required.
- 3+ years logistics, supply chain and engineering
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Have excellent customer service, interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Experience and detail understanding of a spare parts business.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
