Crane is actively seeking career-minded and motivated members to join our manufacturing team. These positions are based out of Cohoes, NY.

Typical workweek is 7am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday with OT as necessary. Some Operator positions will have a schedule that consists of a ten-hour day shift. Positions start at $16.50 to $21/hr.


Manufacturing Positions:

Printing Press Operator (Thermography or Engraving)

Job Overview:

Thermography Press:

  • In this role you will operate a thermography press to apply art and text onto stationery products. The training period to attain the quality and quantity standards for this position is expected to take 3-12 months, with demonstrated progress towards desired metrics expected during the training period. This position supports company goals by supplying a premium product to customers that satisfies their requirements and meets Crane quality standards.

Engraving Press:

  • In this role, you will operate a 5x9 hand engraving press to apply art and text onto stationery products. The training period to attain the quality and quantity standards for this position is expected to take over one year, with demonstrated progress towards desired metrics expected during the training period. This position supports company goals by supplying a premium product to customers that satisfies their requirements and meets Crane quality standards.

Qualification Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience operating a Machine, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven work history
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment with safety awareness
