You will report directly to our Focus Factory Manager. You will lead the implementation of our process and safety improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, and other Continuous Improvement tools and principles.

Primary Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Focus Factory Manager and all our functional department heads, particularly Production, Engineering, and Human Resources, in identifying and evaluating improvement projects. You will set project parameters, assemble and train project teams, and lead the team through the improvement processes to ensure project objectives are met.

Specific Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate Continuous Improvement project needs.
• Establish Continuous Improvement project objectives that mirror plant/division objectives and ensure those objectives are met.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools, such as Single-Piece Flow, 5-S, Kanban Inventory, Visual Management Systems, OEE, and Set Up Reductions.
• Support Plant Safety culture with Continuous Improvement Activities that will result in reduction of potential injuries.
• Develop and implement appropriate metrics to measure and monitor the plant's continuous improvement efforts.

Position Requirements

College degree preferred. Hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing with proven results. Ability to communicate with and lead people at various levels is a must.
