Job description

- Provide quality training and coordinate the production training program to ensure new employees have the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the manufacturing tasks for which they were hired.
- Maintain training records, procedures, and job instructions.
- Provide input on the development of internal Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Complete cross training and conduct refresher training as needed.
- Select designated trainers for each shift and complete Train the Trainer
- Follow up with employees on any post-training when needed.
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify the training needs for individual employees and/or each department.
- Perform certification on all employees.
- Assess employees’ knowledge and skills and look for potential areas of development, and/or customize the training provided.
- Spot Checks/Internal Audits as needed.
- Follow up on Corrective Action training.
- Provide input on the development of internal Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide feedback to Production management after new Process and Quality "Roll-Outs”
- Support Department Managers and Supervisors on delivering Training Material within Department, by coordinating with internal Trainers and employees.
- Other duties as assigned
- At least three years of proven experience as a trainer, training facilitator or similar role
- Training experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Ideal candidates will have experience developing and implementing company-wide training programs
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
- Strong public speaking, training, and motivational skills
- TWI Senior Trainer certification preferred
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
