Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for highly motivated and energetic Market Development Associates to grow our business! The Market Development Associate, our entry-level sales position, will become an expert in their region and work closely with the Business Development Managers, Client Relationship Managers, VPs of Sales and other executive sales leaders to identify new sales opportunities and learn our B2B sales process. After one year of success in this role you will be placed in the next stage of our Sales Leadership Development program within the company where you will be given more visibility to our entire sales process. This position is focused on strategic selling of new business across all of our Taylor solution sets in the early stages of the buying process.

Opportunity for Growth: Your sales career at Taylor
Responsibilities Include:
- Build and manage demand generation pipeline for an assigned territory, proactively marketing and reacting to new business opportunities in the market
- Communicate with ideal customer profiles (ICPs) via outbound phone calls, networking, email, marketing campaigns, social media and video to create awareness for Taylor
- Achieve and exceed performance objectives
- Analyze insights to develop sales activity plans and customer engagements while watching market data and reacting to industry trends
- Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of all solution sets while articulating the value proposition to decision-makers across financial services, insurance, retail and manufacturing industries
- Promote Taylor solutions sets to various levels of management across technical and business disciplines
- Provide baseline research within assigned accounts to identify key contracts and other critical information prior to communication
- Commitment to personal growth, education and improvement. This role will serve as your "sales residency" as you continue your sales career path within Taylor
You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years in sales preferred
- Willingness to learn, listen to feedback, and ask questions
- Proactive, conscientious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
- Excellent time-management skills
- A courteous and professional demeanor
- Persistence, determination, and patience
