Main Accountabilities:

  • Market Manager will report to Regional Sales Director
  • Support Area internal staff (territory assignment may possibly change as plan grows)
  • Market Manager will also be responsible for external broker management and engagement.
  • Lead management and distribution
  • Train, implement, and oversee performance management program for direct reports
  • Monitor and grade community and health events hosted by internal and external staff/agents
  • Must be able to multitask and motivate Internal and external staff to meet metrics
  • Seek and assign new marketing opportunities within the community in assigned territory for the purpose of qualified lead generation and enrollment
  • Support Regional Sales Director with meeting health plan’s qualified lead and enrolment goals
  • Plans and facilitates outreach activities, special events, and presentations to generate Qualified leads/Sales daily to increase membership and increase Plan’s Brand awareness in the community
  • Partners with the senior leadership to determine most effective opportunities to generate sales/leads
  • Responsible for meeting monthly qualified leads and sales goals
  • Foster and nurture various community-based relationships within assigned areas
  • Keep a log of all sales/marketing events and leads
  • Coordinate event logistics including reserving space, catering, communication, distributing materials, facilities support and coordination with marketing to support proper advertisement of events
  • Ensures adequate pre-sales or other collateral materials are available to participants in any sales or member seminar as appropriate
  • Understand the covered benefits, non-covered benefits, exclusions, and exemptions
  • Routinely shadow internal and external agents during sales appointments
  • Keep informed and adhere to current CMS Marketing guidelines
  • Create and monitor telemarketing/outreach efforts as required
  • Train licensed staff and external broker channel on plan offerings and the sales process

Requirements:

  • Medicare Sales Experience required
  • Reside in designated work area or within commutable distance
  • 5+ years of experience of sales and event planning
  • Ideally someone with a social work background or community outreach
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years sales and preferred management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to lift up to forty pounds


License/Certification:

  • Valid driver's license (Required)
  • Health Licensing as required by prospective state (Required)
