We are looking for a methodical Market Research Analyst to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research on current and potential clients’ preferences, pain points, and behaviors along the Impact buyer’s journey. Interest in communicating findings effectively and collaborating on strategies to put them into action for the Marketing team is important for this role.
The ideal candidate can recognize key patterns from data and communicate critical insights clearly and actionably. We are seeking a critical thinker familiar with the Impact sales process, and with a finger on the pulse of what drives consumer interests.
Responsibilities
- Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
- Conduct research to identify trends and target industries to support growth in new markets and service offerings
- Update and expand on existing Marketing audience segmentations, including role-based buyer personas and industry-based qualifications
- Conduct research and create reports to support a single source of truth for messaging for both Marketing and Sales in collaboration with ILI, Demand Generation, and Content Marketing
- Analyze consumer preferences to assist in the development of Marketing plans and campaigns
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and Demand Generation to identify strategic points along the buyer’s journey for Marketing interventions
- Assist Demand Generation in creating a data-driven lead qualification process to support Sales with quality leads
- Research and report on trends in target industries that are relevant to Impact’s service offerings
- Inform personalized Marketing campaigns and website personalization based on industry trend research
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies
Things We Are Looking For
- Deeply familiar with Impact sales process
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office
- Search engine, web analytics, and business research tool acumen
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, market analysis surveys, public opinion polls, literature reviews, etc)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- BS degree in Statistics, Marketing, or similar, or related field experience
- Working knowledge of CRM programs
- Analytical thinker
- Solid organizational skills and detail oriented
