About This Role:
K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Marketing Assistant , which is a temporary, full-time, benefits-eligible position for up to 24 months.

An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:

Develop and implement marketing plans for assigned sports with a focus on increasing attendance and revenue.
Collaborate with the fan experience, ticketing and sales staffs to develop ticket pricing and packages for all six ticketed sports.
Design and edit email and digital marketing for all six ticketed sports.
Plan and organize special events.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience working in marketing
Experience with Photoshop
Commitment to two-year position

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
A minimum of one year experience working in sports marketing
Experience working in higher education at a D1 FBS institution

Other Requirements:
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Salary Range/Pay Rate:
$12.50 per hour (approximately $26,000 yearly plus paid overtime) in the first year; potential to earn $14.00 (approximately $29,120 yearly plus paid overtime) after completion of first year with a successful review and budget approval. Paid biweekly (26 pay periods).
