Marketing Director

The Marketing Director will be responsible for leading B2B technology marketing strategy, plans and execution for multiple industries to generate qualified leads, influence opportunities, and strengthen the corporate brand through compelling and consistent messaging across all touchpoints. This role reports to Argano’s Chief Marketing Officer and involves developing and managing effective marketing campaigns and events for one of Argano’s technology divisions, with the goal of delivering coherent and consistent messaging for various audiences across industry-focused and horizontal offerings within the technology marketplace.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop effective marketing strategies, plans and budgets to strengthen the brand and generate leads for offerings across multiple industries and offerings.

  • Create relevant, integrated, and cost effective cross-media marketing campaigns across a coherent set of offerings to deliver creative excellence against campaign briefs, audience reach targets and brand objectives.

  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team

  • Generate qualified leads, influence opportunities, and identify opportunities by determining value propositions and differentiators with sales, delivery, and product stakeholders’ input to strengthen market positioning

  • Project manage, organize, and create campaign schedule to successfully executive against strategic objectives

  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure deliverables meet expected outcomes in accordance with project timelines and budget

  • Develop and maintain KPIs/marketing performance analytics based on established campaign tracking methods

  • Monitor and report on the ROI outcomes of marketing, e-commerce and digital projects and investments – linked to enterprise KPIs – with the goal of demonstrating the positive impact from these initiatives

  • Manage in-person and online events working with internal and external resources to execute tasks to vendor and partner organizations’ requirements within deadlines and budgetary requirements

  • Network and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to leverage resources, align goals, determine value propositions and differentiators, and bring projects to fruition

  • Foster an environment that encourages innovation and creativity

  • Support Marketing Shared Services Team in strategic initiatives and tasks

What you'll need:

  • Fifteen or more years of marketing experience including B2B and B2C, content management, advertising, and event management

  • Highly motivated, self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to multi-task and effectively balance several areas of responsibility at a time

  • Proven ability to organize and lead a virtual team of professionals across the business working from different locations to leverage resources and align goals

  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills

  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM systems

  • Ability to travel up to 4-5 times a year or up to 10% of the time

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

Additional qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Proficient with marketing-related technologies such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ON24, and Content Experience Platforms, with a passion for tools that increase lead engagement and conversion

  • Experience working within the technology industry

  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets

  • Experience working with business processes

  • Business writing skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones
