Job Summary:
Seeking a passionate marketer to join us in the role of Marketing Manager. This key role will be responsible to develop, establish and execute on marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. The mission is to build the Gator family of brands and position in the market to further our reputation as the go to accessory brand for innovative, reliable, and customer-centric products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Design and execute marketing and business development plans to increase loyalty, conversion, and tribalism to hit business growth and profitability goals
- Execution all campaign components, leveraging traditional and digital marketing tactics, including email, presentations, website, ads, direct mail, events, social, and partner programs.
- Work with product management to develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
- Create distribution plans and deploy marketing content
- Track internal/external marketing requests and deadlines, ensuring all deliverables are on track, within scope/budget, and meet quality standards
- Plan and launch event plans, including tradeshows, customer and sales events, customer experience and outreach initiatives to increase Gator brand awareness and drive sales
- Monitor and lead marketing campaign performance reports to review progress and optimize to exceed business goals and success metrics
- Expand and develop marketing platforms
- Create marketing presentations
- Create an advertising strategy and liaise with media and advertising
- Oversee all our online presence including digital marketing and websites
- Collaborate with the sales function to ensure we have all the right sales marketing tools
- Coordinate with our customers on co-op advertising
- Oversee our social channels, community building, artist and influencer program
- Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
- Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
- Determine and manage the marketing budget
- Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
- Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
- Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years experience in the design and execution of integrated marketing strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Strong full-funnel marketing experience
- Experience or working knowledge of music industry and audio/visual products (gear, accessories, equipment, instruments, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Project and budget management
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
