GLS is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist interested in joining a thriving, fast-packed Cyber Security business building out its direct brand and sales force portfolio. This is a full-time position located in one of Americas top young executive oriented cities, Charlotte, NC. You will play a foundational role in the development and success of a fast-growing business through hands-on involvement in the development and orchestration of lead-generating marketing initiatives such as email marketing, paid search, coordinated branding initiatives, media and content creation, landing page creation, and social media advertising. You will work both autonomously and with our Growth Team to drive revenue, leveraging marketing resources and our business strategy to generate marketing-qualified leads through implementation and maintenance. Your eagerness to roll up your sleeves, diving into the channels and analytics, will directly impact company growth. We are looking for someone who is a curious and creative mind, paired with exceptional writing and content creation skills.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate and lead the building of a lead focused brand forward marketing strategy utilizing web analytics, SalesForce CRM, email distribution, digital and print brochures, socials and other industry best practices for an orchestrated launch.
- Setup and maintain marketing campaigns across channels including social media, email marketing, paid search, SEO, and public relations.
- Track key metrics and assess the effectiveness of specific campaigns based on GLS’ overall business goals, optimizing accordingly.
- Ensure all external communications and materials have a consistent style and voice.
- Stay up to date on marketing trends, competitors, and target audiences in the Cyber Security and Managed Services industry.
- Design and implement new marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales team and engineers to ensure accuracy of marketing goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience working in marketing or advertising, exposure to technical marketing, Information Technology or Cyber Security is not required, but a bonus.
- Candidate must live in or be relocating to Charlotte, NC.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, brainstorm solutions and execute optimizations as outlined in our business strategy.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to translate ideas into simple, intuitive, yet enticing and cohesive messaging.
- Tech-savvy and experience with digital marketing tools, including marketing automation platforms, SalesForce CRM, Google AdWords, Web Analytics, paid and organic social media, and website CMS platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at any given time.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to roll up their sleeves. You should be a self-motivated learner, able to adapt in an ever-changing industry.
- A team player willing to brainstorm, but also capable of executing projects on your own with minimal direction.
- A creative mind with the ability to think outside the box; an eye for design is a plus.
- We are looking for a candidate with the ability to execute on, manage and maintain marketing tactics in various platforms – independently, with minimal management
