Hagens Berman is currently seeking a Communications Specialist to join its marketing team based in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and results-driven with experience drafting press releases and social media posts, and will join a close-knit creative team looking to constantly learn and improve the firm’s prominence through new opportunities. Core Responsibilities:

• 
  Draft press releases
• Draft website content
• Draft content adapting to firm’s tone for different audiences maintaining best practices for SEO (press releases, case descriptions, marketing emails, online ad text, social media posts)
• Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field
• Strong writing skills with demonstrated performance in drafting internal and external communication
• Minimum five years in professional marketing environment
• Sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines, customer-oriented approach
• SEO best practices
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external contacts
• Able to ebb and flow with changing priorities
• Must manage highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Dreamweaver and InDesign experience a plus
